Surprise visit with dl_greenarrow

It was only a couple of days before Christmas and Chloe was packing a bag to take to Smallville, she hadn't heard from Oliver since the weekend, when he had left to go back to Star City.

So when she heard the elevator and went to look at the security camera just to see Oliver himself was in the elevator, she was surprised. She had been expecting him to avoid her and Christmas altogether.

He let go of her instantly, a flash of worry flickering over his expression as his eyes darted to her arm. "Did I hurt you?" His voice was nearly inaudible, his face growing pale.

Chloe blinked, taken aback by his reaction and shook her head, "No." She kept her eyes on his face but took a step back, mostly, she didn't like him having control over her like that, grabbing her and pulling her, not something she could do to him to even the ground.

With a deep breath, she shook her head again, "you're the one who accused me of not caring first, Oliver and what the hell does Clark have to do with any of this?"

Oliver backed away from her, as well. He hadn't hurt her, but he'd been angry and he'd grabbed her, and he could have hurt her. Christ. He was such an asshole.

"Nothing. Just...just forget about it," he murmured, turning away from her, shaking his head, the anger draining out of him. "I'm sorry. I...merry Christmas, Chloe." He swallowed hard, his chest tight as he moved to the elevator once more.

She sighed deeply and rubbed her face, shaking her head and looking down, "you didn't hurt me, Oliver, no reason to go off and kick yourself more than you already do."

His chest was still tight, but he paused in his tracks, shutting his eyes for a moment.
