charloft - Thrusday: Bedtime stories.
Jul. 9th, 2009 12:38 pmI have always been a night person, even as a child, it was always hard for my dad to put me to bed. I didn't normally throw fits, though; I got ready for bed, as dad asked, got into bed and asked him to read me a story.
That's where I'd get him. As soon as he sat down on the bed with the book, I would start asking him questions and having conversations about anything I could think of. To this day, my brain is the most active just before bed, it's when I have the best ideas, when the solutions to my problems hit me, and apparently I've been that way all along.
It didn't take my dad long though, to realize that I talked a lot for a period of time and eventually, when he started talking without interruptions, I fell asleep. So every evening, he would sit down on my bed and ask me what I wanted to know that night, I got my questions out of the way quickly and as soon as he started answering them, I was asleep.
The nicest thing about this, though, was that my dad would always ask me the next morning, during breakfast, if I remembered his answers. When I said I didn't, he would repeat them to me so I wouldn't go without knowing. For most part, anyway. There were some subjects he didn't like talk about, but I don't blame him.

... Sophomore year of High School, I think? Talk about ancient. Weird that there aren't tons of other Chloe Sullivans before me.
That picture actually came from SHS's server, so I assume it was posted to the Torch at some point. Weird, I hadn't thought about the Torch in a very long time... High School feels like a lifetime ago.
ETA: Just remembered this was when we were having the Class President election and Clark's slogan was "The Man of Tomorrow". Has a whole new meaning now.
Post-episode fic
Apr. 24th, 2009 10:01 am(OOC: Because she demanded it, again. I'm pretty sure this will continue to happen until the season finale. Post-episode fic, not linking to anyone in particular, just allowing Chloe to be angsty. This turned out a lot longer and a lot more babbly than I expected.)

Twosday prompt - Boy or girl?
Mar. 21st, 2009 05:41 pmWhether you're currently a parent, don't want kids for a quarter century, or fall somewhere in between, would you prefer to parent boys or girls? Why?
I didn't want either. For the longest time I had my mind set on not having kids, ever. I had always been afraid that I wouldn't be a good mother. How could I? I haven't had one around since I was six years old, I didn't even know what a mother was supposed to be like. Even with Mrs. Kent and Mrs. Ross around when we moved to Smallville, it wasn't the same. And my dad, he has always been amazing, the best parent I could ever ask for but I saw how hard it was for him, and I was pretty sure I couldn't do what he did and, I was afraid I would turn out to be like her and run away from my responsibility.

Mar. 1st, 2009 12:20 amMuse's Name: Chloe Sullivan is the most active one, but there are a few others.
Mun name / nickname: Val
Muse's Fandom: Smallville/Superman/DC Comics
Summary of Muse: It's hard to summarize Chloe, she is a lot of things, but I think mainly reporter and best friend. She is extremely passionate about the things she does and the people she cares about.
Journal Content / Warnings: No warnings as far as I know.
Looking for: Looking for all of it! I'm open to friends, more characters to rp with, new plots, I'm totally open to crossovers and AUs and anything else as long as it sounds IC for Chloe.
Any other information: I have a couple of other characters, including Selina Kyle,
skmeow (I'm not proud of the screen name either) and I would love to do something with her too.
Just PM me, or reply to me and we can work something out if you are interested in playing with either one of them :)

Jan. 26th, 2009 11:36 pm1. What gender of character do you play more of, male or female? Why?
I didn't play males for the longest time, and my first answer to this questions was female, but thinking about it now, I have the exact same amount of males and females. My strongest character is Chloe, but I have a Clark that is not far behind.
