chloesullivan: (Holding her breath)
Chloe unlocked the community center early in the morning. Ollie was supposed to be coming with her, well, them considering the dog tugging on the leash, but he had gotten a call from Queen Industries and he had to make a stop there before going to the community center.

And in a way, Chloe was glad things had worked out that way. She had yet to meet Mia, the girl Oliver had rescued and employed at the center, and who knew about his secret.

She was going into this as open-minded as possible, but a tiny part of her couldn't help but be nervous that a girl who Oliver barely knew had managed to figure out his secret identity. She had been thinking of ways to help conceal his face more since she found out, but that was something she would have to worry about later.

With a deep breath, she pushed the gate open and looked around, turning the sign on and letting Mocha loose inside. She had no idea if the girl was still in bed.
chloesullivan: (Looking up and smiling)
Chloe looked up from her laptop when she heard the elevator and barely had time to place the computer on the coffee table before Mocha jumped on the couch and on her lap, "hey, look who is home," she laughed, closing her eyes and turning her head as Mocha tried to lick her face.

She reached and started patting the dog until she calmed down and Chloe didn't have a ball of fur in front of her face anymore, so she finally saw Ollie, "and you're here too." She teased softly, smiling up at him.
chloesullivan: (Watchtower - researching)
It had been a stressful night to say the least. Oliver had gone to a meeting the previous day and although his assistant confirmed he had gone into the room, she hadn't seen him since, and neither had Chloe.

Sure, it hadn't even been twenty-four hours yet, but this wasn't like him, in fact, he had the habit of texting her from his meetings because he was usually bored.

She was so lost in her own research that she jumped when the intercom went off, it wasn't until she saw the young woman standing outside that she remembered she and Oliver had invited his friend, Bela over for dinner that night.

Chloe buzzed her in and waited, maybe she would be able to help.
chloesullivan: (Happy smile)
It was New Years even and they had planned on laying low, or Oliver's version or laying low, which included buying Chloe an incredibly expensive dress and inviting her to dinner at Fazzano's, one of the most exclusive restaurants in Metropolis. Which Chloe didn't argue about since when she dragged him to Smallville for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, she promised him he could choose how and where they were going to spend new years

After dinner, they were planing on going back to the clock tower and go to the roof to watch the fireworks, they wanted to be home by midnight because they weren't sure how Mocha would deal with the fireworks if she was by herself, most dogs were afraid of it after all.

So she got dressed up and put an extra effort on her make up, Ollie had been pretty restless all day so obviously, going to this restaurant was a big deal to him and she wanted to make sure she looked perfect. He had been ready pretty much since she got into the bathroom to dry her hair and start getting ready so she walked towards the living room where she expected to find him, "okay, I'm ready."

(Rated NC-17 later in the thread.)
chloesullivan: (really happy)
She couldn't wait to get home, not only because she was incredibly curious about whatever gift Ollie had waiting for her, but also because she was on vacation and that meant time with him without worrying about work or anything, and then they would leave to Smallville, which she had no doubt would be nice, with Lois, Clark, Lucy, Mrs. Kent and her dad around, it would be a good Christmas.

Shifting restlessly between her feet, she watched the numbers as the elevator went up impatiently, stepping out and looking around, "Ollie?"
chloesullivan: (soft smile)
They had finally made it to Ireland and the trip had been amazing, they had done some sight-seeing but not a lot of it, mostly they had stayed in the cottage Oliver had found for them, and it had been exactly what he needed, it seemed, because she had never seen him so relaxed before.

The week had gone by quickly and before Chloe knew, they were already on the plane, on their way back to Metropolis. She had never really been one to take vacations like this, just to relax, but she could definitely see the advantages.

She glanced out the window of the plane then back at him, sighing deeply and smiling lazily, "I guess we're almost there.
chloesullivan: (Watchtower and her boys)
After two very long days, they were finally getting home again. Chloe helped Ollie back to the apartment with Clark and Bart's assistance, much to Ollie's annoyance. But after thanking the guys, she had managed to get them to leave.

Once she made sure they got into the elevator, Chloe made her way back to the bedroom, thankfully, Davis had insisted on making sure the clock tower was ready for them, he felt guilty and Chloe thought saying no to the man would only make things worse. Davis had been hovering, checking on them as often as he could, she sincerely felt sorry for him and would be focusing on him as soon as Oliver was one hundred percent again, because if Davis didn't get the help he needed now, there was no telling what could happen to him.

"Comfortable?" She asked with a soft smile as she walked into the room, the grumpy look on Ollie's face all too clear to her.
chloesullivan: (Scared/worried)
Chloe was late by fifteen minute, she told Ollie she would be back to the clocktower at eight, but Lois caught her just as she was about to leave work and she couldn't exactly pretend not to notice her cousin, she had been getting suspicious by Chloe's evasiveness as it was.

To her surprise, Ollie hadn't called her the second she was late, he had been understandably tense by everything that was going on. As she stepped out of the elevator, she frowned at the darkness, all lights were off in the clocktower, something wasn't right.

"Ollie?" She called carefully, turning the living room light on. No sign of him, her heart started beating faster as she dropped her purse on the floor and started turning every light she could on, looking into each and every room, calling his name.

"Ollie!" Her voice was getting more desperate at every room she looked into, and then, finally, she went to the master bedroom, her stomach turning at what she saw there.

There was a big dark red stain on the sheets, the bedside lamp had been shattered to pieces, and in the middle of the messy bed lay a single piece of paper. Chloe rushed towards it, already dreading the worst.

You shouldn't have betrayed me, Chloe.

She gasped as she read the words, she didn't need a signature to know who the note was from. Davis. Davis had Ollie and he was hurt, bleeding, she had to find him, she had to help him, she only hoped she wasn't too late.
chloesullivan: (Frowning worriedly)
As she hurried back to the Planet, she reached inside her purse and pulled her cellphone out, her hands still shaking and her wrist still throbbing but she was ignoring all of that for now.

She speed dialed Ollie's number and held her breath until he picked up, "I need you to meet me in the roof of the Planet." She paused when he started to talk but cut him off, her voice low against the speaker, "no, don't come as yourself, wear the costume. Okay. I'll see you there."

Without giving him any more time, she hung up and made her way into the Planet and to the roof. She knew it was going to take him a while to get there, but she would pace and take deep, calming breaths until he arrived.
chloesullivan: (Looking down smiling)
After a long day at work, plus dress shopping and dinner with her cousin, Chloe decided to call Ollie on her way home, which, of course, resulted in them agreeing he should meet her at her place so they could see each other for a while before he had to patrol, and maybe also after he patrolled.

She had been trying hard not to let them become one of those couples that couldn't go a full day without seeing each other, but she genuinely missed him and she knew he wanted to see her too so what was the point of torturing themselves?

Besides, they had things to talk about, she wanted to show him the dress she had bought for the gala and she wanted to discuss a few things about the weekend they were going to spend in Gotham and according to their phone call, he did too.

So she got home and took a quick shower, changing into comfortable clothes then walking back to the living room, opening her laptop, she figured she could check her emails and maybe work some more until he got there.
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
So the Bruce Wayne Gala is coming up and as usual with Chloe and Lois, they left the dress shopping thing for last minute, now they would be lucky to find dresses that fit perfectly and didn't need any adjustments.

Chloe has been waiting for five minutes, she knew she should have dragged Lois from the Planet with her but she had to do something apparently and insisted on meeting Chloe at the store instead. And Chloe should have known she should have gotten to the place thirty minutes later than what they agreed on.

So she's just going through the dresses in the racks as she waits, making faces at them, wondering how people could wear some of that stuff.
chloesullivan: (Sleeping)
Chloe had managed to sleep for eleven hours, which, considering she hadn't slept at all the previous night, then had worked for ten hours before going to a party for the rest of the night and not to mention the other stuff she had put energy in, it wasn't really a surprise.

So she didn't exactly feel bad as she walked out of the bedroom at almost lunch time, wondering what Ollie could possibly be doing that was so noisy, it sounded like plastic bags and wrapping paper and it wasn't even Christmas morning.

"Ollie?" She called as she rubbed her face, looking around as she made her way to the kitchen, she smelled coffee.
chloesullivan: (Oliver and I - Smiling close)
Since they got back from their trip, Chloe and Oliver didn't really have time to go on dates, not that it really mattered, they had spent a lot of time together since Chloe was still staying with Oliver since her kidnap.

It had been two weeks now and they still hadn't discussed her moving back to her apartment, Chloe didn't think it was going to go over so well.

But tonight, that didn't matter. Tonight they had agreed to go out, have dinner and watch a movie, a late night showing so it wasn't going to be crowded and they could just relax and enjoy themselves more.

Chloe picked up the popcorn and waited for Oliver to pick up their sodas then started towards the theater.
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
(OOC: Scene written over email because we were bored, feel free to leave OOC comments if you want to, Chloe is just excited to have her cousin around :D)

Cut for length, like it could be a short conversation when the Sullivan-Lane's are involved. )
chloesullivan: (HEY!)
They were going to get them. Chloe held on to Oliver's hand as tightly as she could, they were running but it was getting so dark around them, she couldn't see the ground anymore, she was so afraid to trip, and then they would get them, they were so close and suddenly, Oliver was gone, she called out for him on top of her lungs, but her voice wouldn't come out and next thing she knew, everything around her was completely dark, she couldn't move her legs or her arms, she couldn't scream, she couldn't breathe.

There were walls around her now, it was all dark, but she could feel them closing in on her, on every side of her, moving in, close and closer, she was laying down and the wall above her was pressing down against her, it was going to crush her, so she tried screaming again and this time, it work, she was screaming on top of her lugs, so loud, it made her body shake.

And then she was sitting up in bed, breathlessly, shaking, her eyes wide as she looked around.
chloesullivan: (looking up)
She was a few minutes late as she made her way into the elevator at the clock tower, she had left her apartment with plenty of time to get there, but it was six in the afternoon, in downtown Metropolis and regardless of the day of the week, traffic was always insane.

As soon as the elevator doors slid open, she sighed a little then called out, "I'm here, sorry I'm late, traffic was completely insane."
chloesullivan: (Oliver and I smiling)
It had been almost a week since the ball and things had been... steady, Chloe and Oliver had been spending a lot of time together, as usual, but things between hadn't progressed any further.

AC had arrived a couple of days ago and they had spent most of the preview night working on their plan for their next mission, but tonight, Chloe and Oliver decided a break would be good, and Oliver had insisted on a date-like night.

So after work, Chloe had gone home and changed, he had picked her up and they went to dinner and a movie, Chloe hadn't done that in a long time and Oliver seemed to enjoy himself, and now, on their way back to her place, he looked just as content as he did when he had picked her up and she was enjoying seeing him so relaxed.
