chloesullivan: (Holding her breath)
Since the news about Lex Luthor being alive broke, Chloe hadn't slept. It took her about thirty-six hours to pack up everything she needed and drove to Metropolis, under the circumstances, it was as fast as she could make it.

Her employer had managed to set up an hotel room for her until she could find a permament place is she decided to stay, and once she made sure all the cameras and security were as desired, she called Lois and set up to meet her during work hours at her cousin's apartment. She was nervous about seeing her again, but with Lex back and obviously being interested in the other woman, she had no choice but to keep an eye on her and make sure she was safe.

It was just a little after two when Chloe made her way up to Lois' floor, her heart was beating fast but her expression didn't betray her emotions, she knew that when it came between her and her cousin, she had to be the collected one.

With just one more deep breath as she stood by the door, she willed herself to relax and knocked, then waited.
chloesullivan: (Holding her breath)
Chloe hadn't made the drive to Smallville in a very long time, she had no reason to, not when everyone was usually in Metropolis anyway and her cousin worked less than two blocks away from where she lived, but today, she was driving down the familiar road south of the city once more.

She had asked Lois if she could come over so they could talk, sure, they could have just talked at the Watchtower but Chloe didn't want to chance being overheard by anyone, especially Ollie.

It was a little after ten when she got to the Talon and after getting coffee for her cousin, juice for herself and a couple of muffins, she made her way up the stairs, not bothering with knocking since she had texted her cousin a little while earlier letting her know she was close, mostly to make sure Lois was actually awake.

"Lo?" Chloe called as she pushed the door open while balancing the tray with their beverages on one hand and the bag with the muffins clutched in the other.
chloesullivan: (Smile with crinkled nose)
Chloe had convinced Mia and Lois to go shopping with her, not that it had been a particularly difficult task or anything, but she really needed their help since Ollie was the hardest person to shop for and she also had no idea what to get Mike.

Besides, she felt like some girl time would be good, especially for Mia who had been pretty much stuck with Mike and Ollie while Chloe was gone, she knew Lois barely functioned when she was too worried about something.

Mia and Chloe left the Watchtower ten minutes before the time they were supposed to meet with Lois for lunch at the Italian restaurant near the shopping center they were going to and still made it there before Lois.

Once they settled on one of the booths, Chloe checked her phone and shrugged a little, "in Lois time, it's still early, hopefully she won't be too much longer."

[Posting order: Mia, Lois and Chloe.]

It was a little after noon when Chloe and Oliver woke up, or at least, when she woke up and found him staring at her, like he wanted to make sure she was still there. Not that she blamed him, considering everything that had happened.

A while later, they both, finally made their way out of the bedroom, Chloe wasn't surprised to hear the TV was already on in the living room, Lois was staying there with them after all and she had the feeling her cousin had been stopping herself from knocking at their door and waking them up.

Chloe was both nauseous and starving, a combination she was getting used to, and Ollie promised to make her breakfast, but just as they were making their way into the kitchen, his secretary called and he had to go into the office, their home office, that is, to take care of business.

So Chloe grabbed a box of lucky charms and made her way to the living room, she was pretty sure she was going to get sick if she added milk to it, so she decided to eat it dry. Hardly nutritious but they were going to talk to Emil later about what she should and should not eat.
chloesullivan: (Plotting smile looking down)
"You do remember Aunt Lois, don't you?" She asked Mike as they entered the elevator of the Planet and waited for it to get down to the basement. Normally, she would have taken the stairs seeing as it was just one floor, but right now she was trying hard to balance the box of donuts, the tray with their coffee and the chocolate milk precariously sitting on top of it, her purse and keep a firm grip on the little boy's hand all at the same time.

But she had managed it this far, she could manage a few more steps, besides, the look on Lois' face would be priceless and completely worth it, that much she was sure of.

Posting order: Mike, Lois and Chloe.

Chloe arrived at the airport a little early simply because she was restless, she had left Mia at the Watchtower with Bart, Oliver was in Smallville, meeting with Tess and she was worried about Clark.

She walked up the stairs of the plane carrying a small overnight bag with her as well as her laptop bag and her purse, greeted the pilot and spoke with him for a moment before walking toward the back of the plane.

Ollie was planning on taking Mia and Bart on patrol that night and she wouldn't be comfortable with not being around, or at least being in their ears, because she knew that if something went wrong and Mia was somehow in danger, both Ollie and Bart would be more vulnerable and more worried about helping Mia than getting them all out of whatever trouble they got themselves into.

Once her things were secured under one of the seats and her phone was in her hand, she sat down and looked out the window. She didn't like the fact that Clark was pretty much by himself in California, having to deal with all of it and she hoped Lois was on time so they wouldn't miss their scheduled flight plan and take even longer to get to the state. At least if Clark needed anything, they would be close by.
chloesullivan: (Happy smile)
It had been a long day of preparations, Victor and Clark did all of the cooking, Bart chopped things up faster than anyone else could, and Clark might have sped up the turkey cooking process with his heat vision because Bart kept complaining he was hungry.

Ollie and AC helped around the kitchen while Lois made it her job to stop Chloe from doing much of anything at all. She was pretty sure those were Oliver's orders for the day, but she had insisted on at least setting the table, and that had been the only time Lois had actually insisted on helping.

In the end, everything had turned out well, there was food for about twenty people on the table, although, between Clark and Bart, Chloe guessed they wouldn't have a lot of leftovers. But that didn't matter, what really mattered was that everyone was there, together, healthy, talking and eating, like the family they were.
chloesullivan: (Worried leaning on elbows)
The snow storm was past them and the boys had been working on the new floor, which would be for Lois, most of the day and had wanted to patrol. But Oliver had stayed behind with Chloe and Lois and now they were just waiting for Clark to get back from an emergency call so Lois could finally fill them in on what they needed to know.

Chloe was still nervous about them finding out more about the future, but the fact that this future Lois had come from clearly wasn't exactly the same as theirs did comfort her a little because then maybe, whatever bad that had happened might not happen in their present.

With a deep breath, she shifted on the couch and looked towards the window that Clark had left through, "I wonder how long he will be."
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
They had had a long night, Lois had fallen asleep on their bed, so Chloe and Oliver just ended up sleeping on the couch when Clark had to leave because he heard someone calling for help.

It hadn't been the most comfortable night, but it was for a very good reason. Chloe could hardly believe her cousin was back, not only Lois, but Clark too. It was like having her whole family back together after two very long years without them.

When they woke up, Oliver insisted on going out to get them breakfast, so Chloe was sitting on the couch, wrapped up in blankets and reading the paper while she waited for him to come back and for Lois to wake up.
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
After her run in with Oliver Queen at the bar, Chloe picked up her cellphone, she had walked to work that day since she wanted to get a better look at what kind of restaurants and stores she had available in the area, so it would be nice to have her cousin to talk to during her two block walk back, besides, they were used to seeing each other at least once a day and talking to each other a few times a day, and even though she had only been gone for two days, she missed Lois already.
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
So the Bruce Wayne Gala is coming up and as usual with Chloe and Lois, they left the dress shopping thing for last minute, now they would be lucky to find dresses that fit perfectly and didn't need any adjustments.

Chloe has been waiting for five minutes, she knew she should have dragged Lois from the Planet with her but she had to do something apparently and insisted on meeting Chloe at the store instead. And Chloe should have known she should have gotten to the place thirty minutes later than what they agreed on.

So she's just going through the dresses in the racks as she waits, making faces at them, wondering how people could wear some of that stuff.
chloesullivan: (Big grin with Lo)
(OOC: Scene written over email because we were bored, feel free to leave OOC comments if you want to, Chloe is just excited to have her cousin around :D)

Cut for length, like it could be a short conversation when the Sullivan-Lane's are involved. )

Delivery for Lois Lane )

I'm headed to Smallville to have lunch with dad, but I will be by later so we can celebrate properly!
chloesullivan: (Laugh)
They needed this. Chloe, Lois and Lana needed a girls night out. So they planned and they finally made it, with their busy schedules, that was an accomplishment on it's own.

Tonight they've been to two different bars and one club, they have had more drinks than they could count and now they are walking back to Ollie's loft.

"Are you sure, Lo?" Chloe asks, swinging her shoes in her hand a little as they walk towards the elevator, "We can go back to my place, there's no one there." She shifts a little when they stop and grins at her cousin, "And then Lana and I would be home!"
chloesullivan: (Chlo-Lo)
(OOC: Because I was bored and she asked for it. Apparently wee!chlo-lo is not a source of happy fic. Excuse my characterization of kids, I'm not really around them at all.)

Lois, give it back! )
chloesullivan: (WTF? Chlo-lo)
Chloe isn't sure why Lois suddenly demanded they hung out. Sure, they haven't done anything in a while and last time they did, they both got almost too drunk to remember hanging out but still, Chloe can't help be a little paranoid that Lois knows about the blackouts, or that Clark sent Lois on a fact-finding mission since Chloe has been avoiding her best friend lately... not that she really believes Clark could make Lois do anything.

Mostly, Chloe knows she's just being paranoid because of everything else that is going on and this is probably just Lois missing her or needing to talk about her and Clark and whatever may be going on between them.

So Chloe takes a deep breath as she walks into the cafe, looking around for a moment before realizing her cousin isn't there yet so she takes a table by the window and settles into her seat.
