Surprise visit with dl_greenarrow

It was only a couple of days before Christmas and Chloe was packing a bag to take to Smallville, she hadn't heard from Oliver since the weekend, when he had left to go back to Star City.

So when she heard the elevator and went to look at the security camera just to see Oliver himself was in the elevator, she was surprised. She had been expecting him to avoid her and Christmas altogether.

"Can't argue with that," she said with a smirk before turning to look down at the box and opening it, her eyebrows raising, "that's really pretty, Oliver, thank you," she glanced at him and grinned softly, "and I do love bracelets," she said as she put it around her wrist.

Oliver smiled as she put the bracelet on. "You're welcome. And I know you do," he admitted.

"Thank you," she said again, looking down at the bracelet then back at him.

He nodded a little. "You're welcome," he said softly.

She considered for a moment then leaned back on the couch, looking over at him, "I was serious about you coming to Smallville with me, Oliver."

"I know you were," he said with a slight nod. "But frankly, this is just...it's not a holiday I really get into." Not that he really got into any holidays, except possibly the Fourth of July.

"I figured that much," she cocked her head, "but there it no point in you spending it by yourself when you have a place to go to." She paused and smiled softly, "at least you know the food will be awesome?"

"Chloe." His voice dropped. "I don't think I'd be very good company. For your or anyone else."

She sighed softly, leaning back against the couch and nodded, she didn't want to force him into anything, but she knew he'd just be miserable by himself and that wasn't something she was okay with.

"I get that this is probably hard for you, but you don't have to spend it by yourself."

"I know, Chloe," he murmured. He glanced at her sideways and offered her half a smile.

"Then why do you want to?" She raised her eyebrows, turning to look at him again.
