Surprise visit with dl_greenarrow

It was only a couple of days before Christmas and Chloe was packing a bag to take to Smallville, she hadn't heard from Oliver since the weekend, when he had left to go back to Star City.

So when she heard the elevator and went to look at the security camera just to see Oliver himself was in the elevator, she was surprised. She had been expecting him to avoid her and Christmas altogether.

As she moved to sit down on the couch next to him, she kept her eyes on him, then lifted the two small bags towards him, "I was wrapping, but you looked lost in thought," she said carefully.

He shrugged a little. "Just spacing out, I guess."

Sighing softly, she raised her eyebrows at him and held the bags out to him, lifting one higher than the other, "you should open this one first." She had the feeling she had upset him with the Christmas stuff, but she still didn't want him to spend it by himself, she would bring it up again after gifts.

He smiled and took the bag from her, pulling out the shirt and chuckling a little at the words Trust Me, I'm an Archer across the front. "Cute." He grinned at her.

Chloe shrugged and grinned at him, "figured you wouldn't be able to wear out much but I couldn't help myself," she paused then looked at her own gifts, "should I go next or you wanna open your other one?"

"I think it's your turn," he said with a grin. He picked up the larger of the two boxes and handed it to her.

She raised her eyebrows at him and turned to the box, ripping the paper before opening the box, raising her eyebrows a little as she looked at it, "oh, wow, Oliver, this is gorgeous," she said as she kept staring down at it.

He smiled. "I didn't know if you like to journal or not, but I figured you could use it somehow anyway since you enjoy writing."

"If you come to Smallville with me, I might show you the boxes and boxes of old journals I have under my bed," she teased lightly before handing him the second bag, "your turn, and these should be two separate gifts but I didn't buy wrapping paper yet so... they are together."

In the bag, he'd find this, this and a small box.

He smirked in amusement as he pulled out the two pair of silk boxers. "Is this a not-so-subtle hint?" he teased, opening the small box and smiling at the sight of the arrow cufflinks. "Thank you." He looked at her, and pressed a kiss to her mouth.

Chloe grinned softly and raised her eyebrows when he kissed her but kissed him back, shrugging, when she pulled away, "I figured you needed more green ones."
