Chloe was typing away on her desk. She had been doing so much work for the Watchtower that she was barely caught up with Planet work. She had had a deadline the previous day and now she was trying to do as much research for her next article as she could because she knew the second she was out of the Planet, her attention would be focused on something else entirely.

"Sounds good to me," Chloe sat up and nodded at him, "the only problem is that I always eat way more than necessary when I come here." She grinned softly and shifted on her seat.

He rolled his eyes. "You know, Chloe, coffee isn't a meal supplement. I think you could stand to eat at least once a day," he joked.

She rolled her eyes and shook her head, smiling, "you sound so much like Clark sometimes." She appreciated the concern for her health, but it always amused her when they sounded alike, they were completely different people but they could be incredibly similar in some aspects.

He grimaced a little. "Great."

She laughed and shook her head, "it's not a bad thing, mostly." She added teasingly.

He rolled his eyes. "Mostly," he repeated wryly.

She grinned and reached out to pat his hand, "I'm joking."

He grinned back at her, shaking his head a little in amusement.

She rolled her eyes but smiled at him, sipping on her milkshake again.

Oliver did the same, looking up when the waitress set two tickets down on the table and walked away wordlessly. "She's very pleasant. We should leave a big tip," he joked, picking up the tickets.
