The snow storm was past them and the boys had been working on the new floor, which would be for Lois, most of the day and had wanted to patrol. But Oliver had stayed behind with Chloe and Lois and now they were just waiting for Clark to get back from an emergency call so Lois could finally fill them in on what they needed to know.

Chloe was still nervous about them finding out more about the future, but the fact that this future Lois had come from clearly wasn't exactly the same as theirs did comfort her a little because then maybe, whatever bad that had happened might not happen in their present.

With a deep breath, she shifted on the couch and looked towards the window that Clark had left through, "I wonder how long he will be."

She held his gaze. "You're going to need a different costume."

"I can have one made," Oliver offered with a slight shrug, glancing at Chloe. "Shouldn't be a problem."

"And you can save some people, we will take some pictures and anonymously submit it to the Planet, shouldn't be long before everyone is interested in you." She raised her eyebrows, looking back at Oliver.

"I want to keep the symbol," he told them, looking back at Lois, "and... I do have an idea for a different costume but I don't know if it's... going to look weird."

"It doesn't," she informed him without hesitation, a small smile on her face. "It looks pretty amazing, actually."

Oliver ducked his head, smirking, then moved over to sit down beside Chloe once more, resting a hand on her knee. "Sounds like we have a plan."

Clark raised his eyebrows at Lois and smiled awkwardly, "even with the cape?" It was an outfit his father had worn in Krypton a lot and Clark had seen while in the fortress, during his training, while his father explained hos heritage to him.

Chloe leaned closer to him and kissed his cheek softly then looked towards Lois and Clark, a soft smile on her lips, "sounds like we do."

"Even with the cape," Lois assured him, her eyes bright.

Amused, Oliver leaned over. "I tried talking him into the cape thing a couple years ago," he told Chloe, his voice almost inaudible.

He smiled softly and nodded, rubbing the back of his neck, "I'll try to make a sketch of it but... I'm not good at drawing."
