When Chloe woke up, she was in her bed, her memory hazy for a few seconds, it looked kind of dark outside, but it didn't sound like it was early in the morning, the traffic in the distance outside, it sounded more like rush hour than anything else.

She sat up and when she did, her head immediately started pounding and with the pounding came her memories, she remembered the accident and the hospital and then leaving the hospital with Oliver and then...

The clock said it was 6:43, and if the noise outside was anything to go by, it was 6:43PM. She had slept all day, which meant she had slept all day and that meant she had completely missed work.

Chloe groaned and rubbed her head before getting up, she could hear the TV in the living room, so she walked towards it sleepily.

She nodded, laying her head on her arms over the table and turning so she could look at him, "yeah, you know, playboy lifestyle sounds lonely."

Oliver drew in a breath and let it out slowly, shrugging a little. "I guess," he murmured.

Her eyelids were really heavy, so she closed her eyes, a smile still on her lips as she shrugged, "we can be un-lonely together." She opened her eyes a little to look at him but closed then again when she yawned.

A smile tugged at his lips as she literally began to fall asleep right in front of him. He rose to his feet. "Sounds good to me," he said quietly, moving over beside her and carefully shifting her into his arms. He lifted her up effortlessly. "Let's get you to bed. It'll be much more comfortable."

"I can walk," she mumbled as she laid her head against his shoulder, sighing deeply, her body completely relaxed as she fell asleep.

He chuckled softly, carrying her back to the bedroom and gently laying her down in the bed. He pulled the covers up around her, and smoothed the hair out of her face, gazing down at her for a moment. Then he headed for the door.
