Chloe had managed to sleep for eleven hours, which, considering she hadn't slept at all the previous night, then had worked for ten hours before going to a party for the rest of the night and not to mention the other stuff she had put energy in, it wasn't really a surprise.

So she didn't exactly feel bad as she walked out of the bedroom at almost lunch time, wondering what Ollie could possibly be doing that was so noisy, it sounded like plastic bags and wrapping paper and it wasn't even Christmas morning.

"Ollie?" She called as she rubbed her face, looking around as she made her way to the kitchen, she smelled coffee.

Oliver kissed her hand again and rose to his feet. "All right. I'm going to shower." He paused, a grin flickering over his face. "Care to join me?"

Chloe raised her eyebrows a little then smirked softly, nodding and standing up too, "well, I do need to shower too... that'd only be convenient."

"Plus we'd be conserving water, which is good for the planet." He grinned brightly.

"So many good reasons," she grinned softly as she walked down the hall with him, "sounds like a good way to start a Saturday..."

"I really agree." He winked at her and pulled her against him, kissing her.

She wrapped her arms around his neck and kissed him back, tiptoeing as she did. She was glad their arguments were over and it felt like they both had really left all of it behind them and they could just enjoy each others' company, not even Lex could ruin the day.
