Birthday Surprise for dl_greenarrow

Who: Chloe Sullivan and Oliver Queen.
What: Ollie's birthday surprise.
Where: Private Villa in Jamaica.
When: Around 10 PM, October 22nd.

Chloe took a deep breath as she looked around the room, she couldn't have imagine it would be this nice, but it was perfect. It was completely quiet if not for the noise of the ocean outside, there was no one around them for at least a couple of miles and this was exactly what they needed.

Especially since last night. She sighed softly and shook her head, she still felt awful for putting both of them through it, even if part of her was glad at least it was out there and if it ever became an issue again, he would know where she was coming from, but the part that had upset her the most was that the thought of pulling the plug on their relationship had actually crossed her mind for the first time since the beginning of their relationship.

But that wasn't what this trip was about, this was about making sure Oliver had a good birthday and making sure she got him to relax and get some real time off.

She couldn't wait to see the look on his face when Bart dropped him off, the fact that Oliver had set up a meeting with Helena that night had worked out perfectly because it gave her a couple of hours to make sure the room was in order and that Bart could bring all the luggage she had packaged for both of them and still have enough time to go back and be ready to 'kidnap' Oliver and bring him to the Villa before he even had a chance to suspect anything.

Chloe grinned softly when she read the text from Bart, telling her Helena had just left the Clocktower and took a deep breath, shutting down her cellphone and throwing it in her purse, just a few more seconds...

Oliver didn't even know what hit him. One minute he was standing in the clock tower talking to Helena and the next, he was...in a hotel suite?

That didn't even make sense. "What the hell..." he mumbled, turning and pausing as he spotted Chloe. His eyes widened a little.

Chloe blinked as the strong wind came, went and Oliver materialized in front of her, she took a deep breath and smiled softly, shrugging, "apparently kidnapping is the only way to get things done these days."

He cocked his head to the side and raised his eyebrows at her. "You had me kidnapped?" There was a hint of amusement in his eyes.

Nodding, she took a step closer to him and smiled innocently, shrugging a shoulder, "surprise?"

A short chuckle escaped him. "You could say that." Then his eyebrows furrowed. "Uh--so what's the occasion?"

"Well," she took a deep breath and stepped closer to him, taking one of his hands in hers, "we've been wanting to do this for a while and I think, after last night, we could really use some time away from everything," she added, her voice a little quieter, "besides, I want you to have a good, relaxing birthday, I want you to actually get the chance to celebrate it."

Oliver paused. "Birthday," he murmured. "Oh. Right." He reached out and slid his arms around her, pressing a kiss to her temple. "Does that mean we're in Jamaica?" His eyes widened a little once again.

Chloe relaxed a little, and wrapped her arms around him, nodding and closing her eyes for a moment then looking up at him, "we are, and I booked the villa through Tuesday, I know I'm being optimistic and we probably won't be able to stay here this long, but hopefully we can make it at least through the weekend."

"That'd be nice," he whispered, closing his eyes and resting his head against hers.

She took a deep breath and hugged him close, "I was afraid you'd get upset that I just dragged you here."

"Yes, how dare you drag me to a beautiful island to be alone with my gorgeous girlfriend for a couple of days. What were you thinking?" He grinned.

Chloe grinned softly and brushed her nose against his, then rubbed her hand over his back, "well, I haven't told you the rules yet..."

"What? There are rules? On my birthday?" He raised his eyebrows at that.

Oliver drew in a breath and slowly sat down on the edge of the bed, his eyes focused on her intently.

"The rule does apply to both of us though," she told him, dropping her dress on the floor then walking over to him, her heels clicking against the wooden floor as she did.

He swallowed hard, watching her every move, his heart beating faster in his chest. "What?"

She licked her lips and smiled, reaching for the buttons of his shirt as she stood up directly in front of him, "too many clothes, Ollie. But don't worry, I'll fix it for you."

"Please do," he murmured, resting his hands on her waist and looking up at her intently.

Smiling, she leaned down and brushed her lips against his as she undid the buttons of his shirt slowly, "I love you, Ollie," she told him quietly.

His chest tightened and he tugged her forward until she was on his lap. "I love you, too," he whispered.

She pressed her knees against the mattress on either side of him and brushed her nose against his as she pushed his shirt over his shoulders once she was done with the buttons.

Oliver leaned back so he was laying on the bed beneath her, smiling up at her for a moment before he captured her lips in a kiss.

Smiling softly, Chloe kissed him back as she shifted, cupping his face in her hand.

"Liking this idea already," he told her softly, resting his hands on her hips once more.

Chloe grinned softly and leaned down, brushing her nose against his as she ran her thumb over his cheek, "glad to hear it, wait until you see the rest of the place, it's pretty amazing..."
