Trip to New York with dl_greenarrow

Graduation had been over a month ago, but only now they were making their way to New York. Chloe had wanted to make sure she was putting enough time at the Planet and was in good with her editor before requesting the time off. She also wanted to make sure she wasn't gone when there was a possibility for a promotion.

Oliver had been patient, but so once she gave him the dates she could be gone for, it took him less than an hour to throw the trip together and give her times and where they'd be staying.

And now there they were, the plane had just landed about five minutes ago and they were gathering their things, Chloe placed her laptop inside it's bag and looked over at him, "so what are we doing first?" She asked, not bothering to hide her excitement. She'd never been to the city before and she was looking forward to exploring it.

He smirked at her. "Retrieving my telephone," he responded, his mouth against her ear.

She shivered, "pretty sure you're invading my personal space."

"Am I?" he murmured, nibbling lightly on her earlobe and enjoying her shiver. "I hadn't noticed."

"Yeah, pretty sure I could sue you for this," she said, smirking and licking her lips before turning her head and pressing her lips to his neck.

"You could," he murmured in agreement. "Or you could just ask me for what you really want without the really dull, really lengthy legal process."

Chloe pulled her head back and raised her eyebrows, "who said I want anything?" She asked, cocking her head and looking at him innocently.

He smirked at her. "I just happen to know you pretty well, Chloe," he informed her, resting a hand on her leg.

She smirked at her and shrugged a shoulder, "if you know me so well, then what do I want?"

Oliver chuckled. "You want a lot of things. But right now you just want to get into the hotel and away from prying eyes." He nodded ever-so-slightly toward the limo driver.

Sighing deeply, she shrugged and reluctantly pulled back, "how long is this drive anyway?"

"Just a few minutes, don't worry." He shifted and slid his arm around her shoulders, kissing her forehead without really thinking about it.

She pulled his phone and handed it to him, biting on her bottom lip, "I guess I can wait a few minutes for the sake of privacy."

"Relax, Chloe," he murmured softly, pulling her a little closer to him. "We have the rest of the day and all night."

Chloe pursed her lips together and raised her eyebrows, looking up at him, "you didn't make reservations under your name, did you?"

He rolled his eyes at that. "You do realize I've checked into hotels before, right?"

She rolled her eyes back at him and shrugged, "yeah, well, I wanted to make sure, besides, now I wanna know which alias you use."
