Trip to New York with dl_greenarrow

Graduation had been over a month ago, but only now they were making their way to New York. Chloe had wanted to make sure she was putting enough time at the Planet and was in good with her editor before requesting the time off. She also wanted to make sure she wasn't gone when there was a possibility for a promotion.

Oliver had been patient, but so once she gave him the dates she could be gone for, it took him less than an hour to throw the trip together and give her times and where they'd be staying.

And now there they were, the plane had just landed about five minutes ago and they were gathering their things, Chloe placed her laptop inside it's bag and looked over at him, "so what are we doing first?" She asked, not bothering to hide her excitement. She'd never been to the city before and she was looking forward to exploring it.

He couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. It was one of the things he loved the most about her. "Well, first we're checking into the hotel. But after that, I thought we could start off by taking a trip to Ellis Island so you could meet Lady Liberty. Now that you're free from school and all." His voice was light, teasing as he rose to his feet, getting his suitcase from the back of the jet.

She smirked at him and nodded, "starting slow, then? Sounds good," she picked up her purse then talked toward the back to get her own suitcase, "what are we doing tonight?"

"I thought I'd let you pick," he answered, glancing at her sideways as he picked up her suitcase as well.

Chloe rolled her eyes and smirked, "such a gentleman," she teased but made no move to grab the suitcase from him, "and you might wanna be careful with letting me pick."

"Oh yeah? And why's that?" he asked with a raised eyebrow as he led the way toward the door of the plane, which had already been opened, the stairs already in place.

"I've been researching," she told him, smiling innocently as she followed him toward the exit.

He paused, turning to look at her with his other eyebrow raised now, as well. "Meaning?"

"It's not guilt," he told her with a shrug.

"What is it, then?" She asked, raising her eyebrows.

He shifted uncomfortably. "You seemed upset," he told her, watching her carefully.

"Well, I'm annoyed," she told him with a roll of her eyes, "people like them make serious journalists look bad, but I could care less about what they say, I might call work depending on what it is, but I doubt my dad will care since he knows the truth about us, and I could care less about what anyone else thinks."

At that he paused, truly caught off guard. "Your dad knows about us?" His stomach knotted as he looked at her, startled.

Chloe gave him a look at raised her eyebrows, "the truth that we're friends and he has nothing to worry about, and that's as much as he needs to know."

He smirked at her. "I have several I use. This time, however, I checked us in under Mr. and Mrs. Green," he informed her.

Chloe pursed her lips together and snorted, "right."

He raised an eyebrow. "You think I'm kidding?"

"Well, no," she told him, smirking at him, "I just think you're lame."

"Ouch." He frowned a little, giving her his best pout.

Chloe smirked and glanced at the taxi driver and when she made sure he wasn't paying attention to them, she leaned in and bit down on his bottom lip.

He smiled, turning her around in his arms and kissing her without further hesitation, one hand threading in her blond hair.

Chloe wrapped her arms around him as he turned her and kissed him back, pulling him closer to her.

Oliver shifted even closer, leaving no space between them and no space to doubt about the fact that he wanted her.

She made a noise against his mouth as she felt him pressing against her stomach, she grabbed his shirt and pulled him with her as she walked backwards until her back was pressed against the window.

He smiled against her lips, reaching up to pull her shirt off, letting it fall to the floor soundlessly and letting his join it seconds later. "You...are beautiful," he murmured, his gaze sweeping over her as the afternoon sun filtered through the window, illuminating her.

Quickly moving her hands to start working on his pants, Chloe grinned a little, "you don't think they can see us from down there, right?"
