Trip to New York with dl_greenarrow

Graduation had been over a month ago, but only now they were making their way to New York. Chloe had wanted to make sure she was putting enough time at the Planet and was in good with her editor before requesting the time off. She also wanted to make sure she wasn't gone when there was a possibility for a promotion.

Oliver had been patient, but so once she gave him the dates she could be gone for, it took him less than an hour to throw the trip together and give her times and where they'd be staying.

And now there they were, the plane had just landed about five minutes ago and they were gathering their things, Chloe placed her laptop inside it's bag and looked over at him, "so what are we doing first?" She asked, not bothering to hide her excitement. She'd never been to the city before and she was looking forward to exploring it.

He couldn't help but smile at her enthusiasm. It was one of the things he loved the most about her. "Well, first we're checking into the hotel. But after that, I thought we could start off by taking a trip to Ellis Island so you could meet Lady Liberty. Now that you're free from school and all." His voice was light, teasing as he rose to his feet, getting his suitcase from the back of the jet.

"It's not guilt," he told her with a shrug.

He smirked at her. "I have several I use. This time, however, I checked us in under Mr. and Mrs. Green," he informed her.

He smiled, turning her around in his arms and kissing her without further hesitation, one hand threading in her blond hair.
