Chloe arrived at the airport a little early simply because she was restless, she had left Mia at the Watchtower with Bart, Oliver was in Smallville, meeting with Tess and she was worried about Clark.

She walked up the stairs of the plane carrying a small overnight bag with her as well as her laptop bag and her purse, greeted the pilot and spoke with him for a moment before walking toward the back of the plane.

Ollie was planning on taking Mia and Bart on patrol that night and she wouldn't be comfortable with not being around, or at least being in their ears, because she knew that if something went wrong and Mia was somehow in danger, both Ollie and Bart would be more vulnerable and more worried about helping Mia than getting them all out of whatever trouble they got themselves into.

Once her things were secured under one of the seats and her phone was in her hand, she sat down and looked out the window. She didn't like the fact that Clark was pretty much by himself in California, having to deal with all of it and she hoped Lois was on time so they wouldn't miss their scheduled flight plan and take even longer to get to the state. At least if Clark needed anything, they would be close by.

"Yeah, I know." Chloe shrugged a little and looked over at her cousin, "and at the risk of sounding like the jealous... whatever it is I'm supposed to be, I would have been fine with it as long as he wasn't going to see her, I don't trust her."

"Who does?" She raised an eyebrow. "Does Ollie even trust her?" she asked uncertainly, frowning.

Sighing softly, she shook her head, "not really, I think he trusts the fact that she won't harm him, physically at least. And Ollie is smart, but her mind games... and she knows him well."

"Maybe you should talk to him, Chloe." Lois studied her. "You know?"

"I know," she nodded a little, looking down for a second then at Lois, "I plan on it, just haven't had the opportunity to."

Lois nodded a little, patting her hand. "And Ollie's a smart guy. If anyone can figure out what Tess is up to, it's him."

"Yeah, he is," Chloe smiled a little and nodded, taking a deep breath and rubbing her hands over her face, "I've just been more on edge lately."

"I know." She hugged her sideways. "Things will get better, Cuz. They have to."

Chloe leaned into her cousin and nodded a little, smiling slightly, "I know they will," she agreed quietly and took a deep breath.

"And we'll be fine. We're Sullivan-Lane's after all." She smiled.

"Yes, we are," Chloe agreed, smiling softly at her cousin, "and as soon as summer vacations begin for Mia, we're all going out of town for a while to relax, because I think we all need it."

"I like this plan. This has potential." She grinned brightly. "And I vote somewhere tropical."

"I thought you would," she smiled a little more, "and I really don't care where we go, you and Mia can pick a place, as long as we're all there," and everyone is safe, she added silently.

Lois shrugged a little. "Mia can pick." She glanced at Chloe and smiled again, resting her head on her cousin's shoulder.

Chloe rested her head on top of her cousin's and sighed softly, they had that to look forward to, at least, and once they got back, she would start planning it, she didn't think she would get complaints from anyone, they all needed the break.
