Chloe shifted in her sleep a little, starting to wake up slowly until she felt him and stilled. His leg and arm were above her and he was laying behind her, holding her tightly. She shifted her legs a little and smiled. They were sore and his naked body pressing against hers told her it hadn't been a dream.

She opened her eyes a little and looked at the clock. It was almost eleven and she hadn't slept so well in a very long time. Her body felt incredibly relaxed and she sighed deeply and closed her eyes again. She wasn't ready to wake up.

With a soft sigh, she slid her hand over his and held on to it tightly as she brought it over to her chest. This was so much better than waking up alone.

He pressed a tender kiss to the back of her shoulder as he felt her pull his hand closer to her.

Chloe opened her eyes and stilled a little. She didn't mean to wake him. She didn't want him to get up or to know she was awake.

Oliver's arm tightened around her a little and he rested his forehead against the back of her neck, letting his eyes drift shut once more.

She couldn't stop the soft shiver that ran down her spine, but forced herself to relax. She needed some more time before she had to avoid the talking thing for the rest of the day.

He breathed in the scent of her hair, relaxing at the familiarity. Even if it had been a long two months, everything about the scene was familiar because they'd done this so many times he'd lost track of counting.

Chloe sighed softly when she felt him relax and shifted back slightly, closer to him but keeping her eyes open and looking down at their hands. She wondered how long he was gonna be gone for next time he left. Their weekly visits agreement was definitely off.

He lay quietly behind her for a long time, careful not to move and give the impression that he was really awake. He didn't want her to pull away.

She didn't move either and apparently, she had managed to fall back asleep at some point because when she looked at the clock again, it was past noon. Still, she didn't wanna move, it was raining a lot outside and she was warm and comfortable and he seemed to be too.

Oliver listened to the steady sound of her breathing and realized she'd fallen asleep once more. A small smile touched his lips. He hadn't slept well since the last time he'd been in Metropolis, since before everything had blown up in his face. Now, listening to her soft breathing and the rain falling outside, he found himself falling asleep again, too.

Chloe kept her eyes closed and shifted, turning around to face him but staying just as close as she'd been before. She was pretty sure it was the weekend and even if it wasn't, she didn't wanna move.

Oliver let out a breath as she turned to face him and wordlessly, and without even opening his eyes, he shifted closer, wrapping his arm around her once more. He wondered how long it was going to take before she started getting uneasy with the intimacy of it.

It might take her a while, especially if she kept her eyes closed too. She felt relaxed and she also hadn't slept this well in months.
