chloesullivan: (I... don't know...)
Chloe did try to go to bed, for all of five minutes, before she gave up. She was a little restless, even though she liked Star City a lot and was glad to be there with Mia and Ollie, knowing that she had to meet with Zod soon and find out more about their project was making her anxious to go back.

So she opened the door and peered outside, sighing relieved when she saw a light on in the room across the hall from hers, Ollie's room.

Quietly, she walked up to the door and knocked on it as lightly as she could.
chloesullivan: (Staring blankly)
After Oliver left, Chloe heard him stepping on the rooftop and knew he was going on patrol. Which meant she knew he was going to be gone for a couple of hours at least. She went downstairs and checked on Mia, who, as far as she could tell, was asleep, then went back to Oliver's room, sat down on his bed and waited for him.

She knew he was angry and she knew she had lost control of her temper too, so she didn't want to leave things the way they were. She was tired of arguing with Oliver because of Tess, she was tired of Oliver hurting because of Tess and she was done giving the other woman that kind of power.
chloesullivan: (Just a scratch)
After her fight with Tess, Chloe left the Planet pretty much the same way she went in. Her hands shaking with anger, her jaw tight and she was seeing red. Except this time, she wasn't sure who she was angrier with. Tess, Oliver or herself.

She saw Oliver's car parked up front but ignore it. She was going to walk back to the Watchtower for the same reason she had walked to the Planet: to try and calm herself down.

To say she was a mess was an understatement, there was blood all over the front of her coat from when her nose started bleeding, her back was already starting to get sore, her face was hurting in general and the cold wind wasn't helping. Her head was also pounding but that wasn't just because of the injuries. She had no choice but to walk back slowly.
chloesullivan: (looking down)
It had been an extremely long night, she wasn't sure when it had happened, but Oliver had managed to get her to sit down on the couch with him, her head was pounding, between the alcohol, the freaking out, the yelling and the crying, it just felt like too much and no matter how she tried to relax and let exhaustion take over, she didn't seem to be able to shut her brain down.

At least now, it seemed to be clearing up and she felt like she was finally able to actually think again, "why do you want to send Mia to get the others?" She broke the long silence, starting to process the information they had yelled at each other earlier.
chloesullivan: (Frown)
Chloe had just gone downstairs for a cup of coffee and a bagel to go, she had been gone for less than ten minutes so she was very surprised when she opened the door and saw Oliver sitting there on the couch, something that looked like a diary in his hands and he seemed so concentrated in it, he didn't even look up when she walked in.

"You're already back?" She asked with a frown, placing her coffee and bagel over her desk as she reached to open her coat, never taking her eyes off of him.
chloesullivan: (Watchtower - researching)
It wasn't so much that she was pacing as she was pointlessly walking from computer station to computer station, trying to research but not being able to focus long enough on anything that was in front of her.

She knew that while the talk with Clark might actually help things between them, it would make things between her and Oliver bad and for once, she had no idea what to expect from him except for anger and disbelief, she didn't know how he would react.

When she heard the elevator doors opening, she took a deep breath and walked around quickly, minimizing some of the windows and taking a deep breath.
chloesullivan: (Oliver and I dressed up)
The conversation with Diana had gone better than Chloe expected, even with the surprise of her connection with Zod, as Chloe and Oliver walked out of her building, even while still silent, she could tell that they both felt optimistic about the situation.

Diana seemed like a fair woman, she was going to analyze both sides of the situation and with the information they had back at the Watchtower, Chloe didn't see how she would choose to take Zod's side.

They walked about half a block in comfortable silence, the leaf that Diana had give Chloe now safely inside her purse, she wasn't sure what it represented, but it seemed important to the younger woman.

"I have no doubt we'll hear from her soon." There was something incredibly honest and straight-forward about her and Chloe didn't see how her promise to call was anything but sincere.
chloesullivan: (Pursing lips thinking)
Well, if she was completely honest with herself, she did kinda miss him.

Chloe had gotten so used to having Oliver around since the explosion at the clock tower, when she had told him he wasn't allowed to go anywhere or be seen in public at all, afraid that Lex would make another attempt on his life.

So although she would just tell everyone she was worried and wanted him to get back to make sure he got back okay, she kinda missed having him around, even if she was doing her best to keep herself entertaining by setting up her laptop with remote connection to every computer and database in the Watchtower for their upcoming trip to DC, it still felt like something was missing.
chloesullivan: (looking up)
After the meeting and once AC, Bart, Dinah and Victor had left, Chloe had no doubt that Oliver's extended silence meant he was not only pissed at her for not asking her opinion on the plan, but he was also probably pissed for being left behind while the others went on a mission.

Honestly, she didn't care, he could be as mad at her as he wanted as long as he was alive. But that didn't mean she couldn't at least try to fix things.

Once the searches on Toyman and Lex were running, she turned her back to the computer tower and looked over at where he was, "it's not ideal, I know, but it's necessary, Oliver."
chloesullivan: (Watchtower - researching)
It hadn't even been two days since Oliver had taken off with Tess, but since he had told him the previous night that he would be coming back today, Chloe found herself checking the door to the Watchtower and the security camera for the elevator incessantly.

She was anxious for him to get back and she knew part of it was because she wanted him there so she could keep an eye on him, so she would know what was going on and know he was protected. She also knew that there was a part of her that was anxious just because she wanted him there with her, but she ignored that part as must as she could, trying to analyze it wouldn't help things, especially not after Oliver's actions before he left.

Regardless, she felt herself sighing in relieve when she watched him walk into the elevator through the camera, he was back in one piece.
