justprompts - Nightmare

chloesullivan(OOC: Because I haven't written prompts in the longest time and I need to quit being so lazy about it, I beat this one out of Chloe, I apologize if it sucks, just trying to inspire the voices to give me prompts again. It felt like her worst nightmare had just become reality. After he died, no after she killed him, Chloe had had dreams about this happening often but now, it was real. Davis was back and they had no idea where to find him.
After she, Oliver and Clark came up with a plan on how to contain and hopefully, get rid of Doomsday once and for all and maybe save Davis in the process, she went to meet with him, once more, using herself as bait, but he never showed up.
Chloe couldn't understand how Davis knew that Clark was watching them, 'just in case' but somehow, he did and now it was going to be nearly impossible to get him to agree to going anywhere with her.
When Davis contacted her again, he told her he was going to find her when he felt it was safe, which meant she had to wait. Chloe hated waiting. She had never been exactly a patient person, but when the person she was waiting for was a serial killer whose biggest target was her best friend, she hated even more, not to mention that Davis knew about her and Oliver, which made him Davis' second biggest target and Chloe disliked that just as much.
Clark kept going back to the Fortress for more information, Oliver looked as nervous and restless as she felt and none of them had had much sleep in the past couple of days, not while Davis was out there, possibly killing people and there was nothing they could do about it.
Nothing except wait and hope the nightmare was over sooner rather than later.
