Third date with doomedhero

Three dates in less than a week. Chloe is pretty sure that's a personal record.

As she walks from her apartment to the west entrance of Centennial Park she tries to make herself relax; Davis did agree to reschedule their date when Chloe got a call from Oliver on Friday and had to leave soon after dinner, she was glad he had been so understanding, Oliver did need her help but now she just wants to make sure it didn't make anything weird with Davis.

It's still a mystery to Chloe how Davis became this important to her this quickly, but she can't think of a better distraction from everything else that has been going. Being around him really makes her happy; it makes her heart beat faster, makes her feel alive and it makes her feel more... whole.

This thought scares her a little, she isn't usually this kind of girl... but she shakes her head, taking a deep breath to clear her mind before her brain can get any further. She refuses to over analyze anything now. Instead, she reaches for her cellphone in her purse, checking it one more time before setting it to vibrate and dropping it back inside her purse. Hopefully there won't be anymore interruptions.
