Trip to New York with dl_greenarrow

Graduation had been over a month ago, but only now they were making their way to New York. Chloe had wanted to make sure she was putting enough time at the Planet and was in good with her editor before requesting the time off. She also wanted to make sure she wasn't gone when there was a possibility for a promotion.

Oliver had been patient, but so once she gave him the dates she could be gone for, it took him less than an hour to throw the trip together and give her times and where they'd be staying.

And now there they were, the plane had just landed about five minutes ago and they were gathering their things, Chloe placed her laptop inside it's bag and looked over at him, "so what are we doing first?" She asked, not bothering to hide her excitement. She'd never been to the city before and she was looking forward to exploring it.

Closing her eyes again, Chloe shifted closer, "we'll see about that."

"Mmhmm," he agreed, his eyes drifting shut, as well.

"Later," she told him, sighing deeply as she fell asleep.

He drifted toward sleep, as well, listening to the sound of her steady, even breathing as he shifted closer to her, burying his face against her hair. "Love you," he murmured unintelligibly.
