Trip to New York with dl_greenarrow

Graduation had been over a month ago, but only now they were making their way to New York. Chloe had wanted to make sure she was putting enough time at the Planet and was in good with her editor before requesting the time off. She also wanted to make sure she wasn't gone when there was a possibility for a promotion.

Oliver had been patient, but so once she gave him the dates she could be gone for, it took him less than an hour to throw the trip together and give her times and where they'd be staying.

And now there they were, the plane had just landed about five minutes ago and they were gathering their things, Chloe placed her laptop inside it's bag and looked over at him, "so what are we doing first?" She asked, not bothering to hide her excitement. She'd never been to the city before and she was looking forward to exploring it.

A moment later, she untangled herself from him and moved to lay down next to him on the bed, sighing deeply, "good start."

He smirked at that, not opening his eyes. "I agree."

She opened her eyes and smirked, turning her head to look at him, "guess we know where we will spend most of the trip."

"Yeah, well...our next round is going to be in that hot tub," he informed her, turning his head to look at her, as well.

"Hm," she made an approving noise, "I might fall asleep on you, all that warm relaxing water."

"Somehow I think I'll manage to keep you awake," he responded with a smirk, shifting closer to her and draping an arm over her, yawning.

Closing her eyes again, Chloe shifted closer, "we'll see about that."

"Mmhmm," he agreed, his eyes drifting shut, as well.

"Later," she told him, sighing deeply as she fell asleep.

He drifted toward sleep, as well, listening to the sound of her steady, even breathing as he shifted closer to her, burying his face against her hair. "Love you," he murmured unintelligibly.
