Surprise visit with dl_greenarrow

It was only a couple of days before Christmas and Chloe was packing a bag to take to Smallville, she hadn't heard from Oliver since the weekend, when he had left to go back to Star City.

So when she heard the elevator and went to look at the security camera just to see Oliver himself was in the elevator, she was surprised. She had been expecting him to avoid her and Christmas altogether.

With another deep breath, she watched him for a moment, "let me know if you change your mind." She said quietly but didn't move, it was going to be bad enough to think of him spending Christmas by himself, getting drunk and thinking of his parents, but this whole thing made it that much worse, he didn't even think she cared and she had no idea what could have made him think that way.

"You really want me there?" His voice was barely audible.

"If I didn't-" she stopped herself and took a deep breath, just nodding instead, "yes."

"Then I'll be there," he said quietly, swallowing hard as he reached out and hit the down button on the elevator.

She let out her breath and watched as he got on the elevator, but didn't say anything to stop him from leaving, she needed some space too, to try and figure out what the hell that whole thing had been about, because there was a lot more there than just the fact that he didn't want to spend Christmas in Smallville and she didn't know where it had come from.
