The snow storm was past them and the boys had been working on the new floor, which would be for Lois, most of the day and had wanted to patrol. But Oliver had stayed behind with Chloe and Lois and now they were just waiting for Clark to get back from an emergency call so Lois could finally fill them in on what they needed to know.

Chloe was still nervous about them finding out more about the future, but the fact that this future Lois had come from clearly wasn't exactly the same as theirs did comfort her a little because then maybe, whatever bad that had happened might not happen in their present.

With a deep breath, she shifted on the couch and looked towards the window that Clark had left through, "I wonder how long he will be."

"Pacing helps me think," Lois responded without looking up.

"You're making Chloe nervous," Oliver spoke up, pulling his wife a little closer to him.

At that, she paused, and turned to look at her cousin, sighing softly. "Right. Sorry." She moved to the sofa and sat down on Chloe's other side.

Chloe raised her eyebrows, surprised that that had worked and glanced at Oliver, smiling slightly and nodding to thank him silently.

But right at that time, she felt the strong wind that, even after all these years, was easily connected to Clark coming into a room, or leaving a room.

He ran a hand to his hair and looked down at all three of them, nodding once, "sorry, I'm back now." His eyes staying on Lois for a second longer, still expecting a negative reaction towards his true identity.

Lois met his eyes for a moment, a faint smile on her face. "Thought we were going to have to send out a search party, Smallville."

Chloe smiled faintly between the two of them, she didn't know what had happened to Lois and the Clark from the future, but it seemed to do her good.

"Everything okay?" She asked Clark, worried.

He couldn't help but smile a little at Lois, relaxing slightly, which was more than he had allowed himself to do for a while, then turned to Chloe, nodding once more, "everything should be ok now."

She returned the nod and took a deep breath before turning to her cousin, "Lo, do you wanna get started, then? Before something else happens?" And before Chloe couldn't handle her curiosity anymore.
