Chloe found herself looking around the room for any sign of trouble even as she spoke to her and Ollie's guests. No spiked monsters so far was a good sign although she kept expecting the other alien who had suddenly showed up back in their lives to make an appearance this time.

If he did, at least he only had the human form as far as she knew so that was definitely a plus.

But she had to stop herself from thinking about that and focus on the fact that soon enough, she and Ollie would be leaving for their mysterious destination. Yeah, that was definitely better.
